Black Heron (Egretta ardesiaca)

Two birds (later only one) of this species were present at the reservoir at Poilao since about 2007 or 2008 until March 2016.
They are a western African species not easy to see in the WP!
On March 10th, 2017 one Black Heron was sighted on San Nicolao (Tarrafal)

In December 2022 two individuals were seen at the Tarafal sewage plant on Santiago.
