Elon Musk‘s daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, has come forward after he reportedly told she passed away from “the woke mind virus.”
Media reports she felt compelled to speak out after her dad lied about her childhood, admitting she felt “relentlessly harassed for [her]… queerness.”
The 53-year-old reportedly made his remarks during a sit-down with psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson. His platform X streamed the conversation on July 22. But Vivian is claiming what he shared is “entirely fake.”
At the time of the talk, Musk said at age four, Wilson would choose clothes for him to wear. He said she would say “fabulous” in response to her favored looks.
However, Vivian said his statements are “totally made up…” She stated, “I think he was under the assumption that I wasn’t going to say anything and I would let this go unchallenged…which I’m not going to because if you lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I’m not gonna let that slide.”
Vivian said, “He doesn’t know what I was like as a child because he quite solely wasn’t there, and in the little time that he was I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness.”
Wilson shared that he was present “maybe 10% of the time,” although the court awarded Musk “half custody.”
These days, Vivian assertions she hasn’t had contact with Elon in roughly four years. Furthermore, Vivian showed that her das has reduced her to “a happy little stereotype.” She believes her dad’s comments “says a lot about how he views queer people and children in general.”
Elon also told Dr. Peterson that he was “tricked” into allowing Vivian to start treatment for her transition in her teens.
But, Wilson said her dad was fully aware of the extent and “effect” of the treatment, which included hormone replacement therapy and puberty blockers.
The Tesla CEO also discussed deadnaming, which is to call a transgender person by their birth name. Elon said, “I lost my son, essentially.” He continued, ‘They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead.”
Musk shares 6 children with Vivian’s mother and his former-wife, Justine Wilson. He also has 6 more children from 2 previous relationships.
