MAGA influencer Ashely St. Clair claims in a new legal filing that Elon Musk acknowledged being her baby’s father by texting her, “I want to knock you up again.”
Musk has so far refused to directly address St. Clair’s claims since she publicly broke the baby news last week, but he has made several indirect posts about the situation on X.
Now, St. Clair has sued the DOGE director for sole legal custody, slamming him as an absentee father in the process, People reported.
In the petition filed with the New York Supreme Court on Friday, St. Clair says that Musk was not present at the infant’s birth in September and has only met him three times.
Moreover, St. Clair alleges that the tech billionaire “has had no involvement in his care and upbringing,” according to the petition. St. Clair also said that Musk has not seen the child since Nov. 30, 2024, when they spent 30 minutes together.
In total, Musk has spent three and a half hours with his son, who is identified as “R.S.C,” according to St. Clair’s petition.
The filing also reveals intimate details about St. Clair and Musk’s romantic relationship.
St. Clair, a 26-year-old right-wing columnist, says that she and Musk became romantically involved in May 2023 and their child was conceived in January 2024.
In the court filing, St. Clair says that Musk previously affirmed being her baby’s father as he expressed concerns about his safety in text messages.
“If I make a mistake on security, [R.S.C.] will never know his father,” Musk allegedly wrote.
In addition to texting St. Clair, ”I want to knock you up again,” the filing alleges Musk also declared that they have “a legion of kids to make.”
She included screenshots of the messages in the filing, and St. Clair’s petition asks the court to order Musk to address the paternity claim.
St. Clair’s representative, Brian Glickich, told People that St. Clair “has made every effort to collaborate with Mr. Musk before taking this step. She has no further comment on the contents of the petitions, which speak for themselves.”
Musk’s lawyer did not immediately respond to the Daily Beast’s request for comment on the claims made in the petition.
However, the baby drama has not slowed Musk’s crusade to make massive cuts to the federal workforce, affecting all corners of America’s government, from the Department of Education to the Department of Defense.
Musk, 53, is the father of 12 of other children with three other women, including pop star Grimes.
