TRUE LOVE: ‘Wanted and got’, Taylor Swift fans spot moment Travis Kelce ‘fell in love’ with singer exactly year on from first meet.
TODAY marks the one-year anniversary that Travis Kelce attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Kansas City.
Kelce attended Swift’s July 8, 2023, Eras Tour stop at Arrowhead Stadium with the intent to meet her.
He revealed on his New Heights Podcast with his brother Jason that he did not get the opportunity though.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Kelce said.
“So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
“I wanted to give [her] one with my number on it.”
Swift later revealed the two began hanging out shortly after and went public with their relationship in September 2023 when she showed up to a Chiefs game.
Swifties everywhere are taking to X to celebrate today as Kelce and the pop star’s relationship continues to thrive.
“A year ago today, Travis walked into Arrowhead Stadium not to play football but to watch Taylor Swift perform,” wrote one fan.
“He walked in with his phone number on a friendship bracelet and a crush. The rest was history.”
“He knew what he wanted and he got it,” raved a second fan.
“Never say you can’t do anything,” commented a third.
“He went to the concert, got the girl, invited her to the big game, won it, took her to the prom and the rest is History,” wrote a fourth.
“They are #SoHighSchool….it’s beautiful,” the fan continued.
Kelce has attended a plethora of Swift’s Eras Tour shows in London, Dublin, and most recently Amsterdam.
Besides watching Swift perform on stage, Kelce also got involved during one of the pop star’s sets during the show.
The Chiefs tight end joined Swift onstage during her newly added Tortured Poets Department set.
Kelce graced the stage dressed in a suit and top hat and danced around.
Swift has also shown support for Kelce as she was spotted cheering on the tight end multiple times last season.
The pop sensation attended games with stars including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sabrina Carpenter, Sophie Turner, and Hugh Jackman.
Swift was most notably at the Super Bowl when the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22.
After the game, Swift and Kelce met on the field where she was caught on video calling the tight end’s performance “unbelievable.”
