Jason Kelce’s wife Kylie Kelce exclusively revealed to E! News that she has a few game day superstitions to ensure her beloved Philadelphia Eagles win, including always wearing her famous green hat.
Kylie Kelce doesn’t leave anything up to chance when game day approaches.
And even though husband Jason Kelce retired from the Philadelphia Eagles after 13 seasons earlier this year, Kylie still has a few very specific superstitions she sticks to before a big game.
That includes staying offline so she doesn’t jinx anything, with Kylie exclusively telling E! News, “No social media on game day!”
But that’s not the only superstition Kylie—who shares daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 18 months, with Jason—partakes in, especially when her beloved Eagles are playing.
As she shared with E!, she always makes sure to wear the same green hat for every game as a way to bring good luck to the team. And even when she’s watching the Kansas City Chiefs to cheer on brother-in-law Travis Kelce alongside his girlfriend Taylor Swift, she’s still going to be rocking her green hat.
The 32-year-old confessed she’s all in for the Eagles: “‘Til the day I die.”
So it only made sense for Kylie—and her famous green cap—to team up with The Athletic for their “Superstition Swap” campaign, which encourages football fans to share what they do to bring good luck to their favorite teams in return for complimentary access to the site’s advanced statistics and playoff predictions for the 2024-2025 NFL season.

“I’ve enjoyed reading articles on The Athletic for years,” she told E!, “and when they wanted to know what my game day must have was, I decided that I’d been asked about the hat enough times that it should be out there.”
And Kylie is definitely not alone, as The Athletic found that over 70 percent of football fans believe that having a game day ritual—like a lucky piece of clothing—actually makes their team play better.
And for the first time since they began their relationship, Kylie will have Jason by her side to watch an Eagles football game together, which might even give Jason a chance to decide on his own post-retirement superstitions.
For now, the former athlete is focusing on other interests outside of football, with Kylie explaining, “He’s been more conscious about what he’s putting in his body because he isn’t burning calories like he used to.”
