No wonder Taylor Swift took a pass on watching boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs play in Buffalo, New York. Bills WAG Ryleigh Spector brutally dissed the pop superstar after the Chiefs suffered their first loss of the 2024 season against their bitter AFC rival.
Ryleigh, who is married to Bills linebacker Baylon Spector, shared an Instagram Story on Sunday, November 17, posing with Ryan Bass, the wife of Bills kicker Tyler Bass, and Brianna Pomerleau, the wife of Buffalo tight end Dalton Knox, next to the Highmark Stadium field following the game.
“9-2!” the former medical sales rep wrote in large lettering, adding, “Never a Swiftie.”
Taylor, 34, was noticeably absent from Travis’ game in Buffalo, even though she just finished the first three of her six Eras tour shows in Toronto, Canada, the night before on November 16. It was only a 2-hour drive, but the “Karma” singer didn’t make the trip to watch Travis, 35, play on her day off.
Ryleigh’s slam against Taylor seemed to confirm what Kelce family friend and sportscaster Adam Lefkoe claimed prior to the game. He said that the Grammy winner was left feeling uncomfortable by how Bills fans previously treated her.
Taylor, along with Travis’ brother Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce, attended the Chiefs’ January 21 divisional round game in Buffalo, where they beat the Bills with a 27-24 victory en route to winning the 2024 Super Bowl the following month.
“I have heard from people very close that it was not a great experience in Buffalo. It was not. For all parties involved. And I’m talking about the most famous of all the parties,” Adam, 37, told Kay Adams on her Up & Adams YouTube show on November 14.
“I think that it kind of shocked the Kelce family and everyone related to the Kelce family the reception they got,” Adam continued.
“I think they were kind of going in being like, ‘This is going to be an amazing game with good energy.’ And they got there and they experienced Bills Mafia in full form, in its complete ruthlessness,” he added. “And I think they left and went, ‘I don’t know if I want to experience that again.’”
Travis made note of how “disrespectful” fans were during the playoff game in Buffalo on the January 24 episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
“There was a lot of hate pulling up to that stadium, man. Understandable it’s a football game, the Bills, coming into their house, they want to make it rowdy. Did it get a little disrespectful? One thousand percent. Did it get a little extra? One thousand percent,” Travis shared.
Jason, 36, who had a blast at the game tailgating, downing beers and taking off his shirt to cheer on the Chiefs, asked, “What did they say that got extra?”
“I’m not gonna say, because that’s what they want,” Travis explained. “Some things were said about the families. Some pretty inappropriate things were said about Pat Mahomes, it was pretty whack. I get it, coming into a hostile environment. I respect it, but I just wanted to make sure [they] knew it wasn’t mutual.”
