Taylor Swift already spread some holiday joy with her visit to patients at the Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, but she gave a little extra to one lucky girl who complimented the pop star’s outfit.
One week after a young patient named Naya told Taylor, 35, that her outfit was “tea,” the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer gifted the girl a matching look. Naya took to TikTok on Sunday, December 22, with a video of herself unboxing the same Miu Miu ensemble that Taylor wore to the hospital on December 12. The look consisted of a military green plaid top and matching pleated tartan skirt retailing at $2,250 each.
Along with the gifts, Taylor sent a handwritten note for Naya, as seen in the video. “When you asked where I got it, I purposely didn’t tell you because I had a plan Picked you up a few things I hope you’ll think are tea. Ha,” the Grammy winner wrote. “Merry Christmas! Love, Taylor.”
Naya captioned her video, “She is soo amazing im soo blessed, I love you Tay Swizzle you’re literally the Best.”
Naya previously shared videos from Taylor’s visit to the children’s hospital, including footage of the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker’s reaction to the girl complimenting her look, which consisted of the Miu Miu set, tights and knee-high boots.
“Thank you for saying my outfit [is] tea. You made my day,” Taylor told Naya as she signed a copy of her Eras tour book. The pair also took photos together and made a TikTok video set to Taylor’s song “Bad Blood.”
Taylor met Naya and other sick pediatric patients at Children’s Mercy Hospital one day before her 35th birthday. She bonded with her young fans, signing autographs and lifting their spirits with sweet interactions, many of which were shared by parents on social media.
“I like Travis now,” one patient told her, referring to Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce. “Yes, me too! That’s an absolute yes on that one,” Taylor replied.
The “Lavender Haze” singer’s hospital visit came days after she completed her record-breaking Eras tour, which consisted of 149 shows around the world.
“We have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve done in my entire life. We’ve gotten to perform for over 10 million people on this tour,” Taylor told the audience at her final show in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8, calling the tour the “adventure of a lifetime.”
She continued, “And tonight, we get to play one last show for you here tonight in beautiful Vancouver. We’re gonna make it count.”
Travis, 35, celebrated the end of his girlfriend’s tour and her birthday with an Eras tour-themed party. At the celebration, he gave Taylor the iconic 22 hat, something she did for one young fan at each of her shows.
Travis, who attended more than a dozen of the singer’s concerts, sang Taylor’s praises on his and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast during the December 11 episode.
“Shoutout to Tay and the unbelievable Eras tour [that] has finally come to an end,” he said. “Shoutout to everybody that was a part of that show. Obviously, it’s her music, her tour and everything, but that was a full production, man. That thing was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people, but mostly because of Taylor.”
