The holiday season is here, and for Christen Harper, wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, it’s the perfect time to bring together the wives and girlfriends (WAGs) of the team for some festive cheer.
On Monday, Harper hosted the Lions’ annual holiday WAGs party, and by all accounts, the event was a smashing success. Taking to Instagram, Harper shared snapshots and videos that showcased the joyful gathering.
“Beyond grateful! Lions favorite things party We all got to give each other our favorite things, and the best part is we were able to raise money to give back to an amazing Detroit organization @forgottenharvest!” she captioned one of her posts.
The charity, Forgotten Harvest, works to reduce food waste and hunger in Detroit by redistributing surplus food to those in need.
Harper‘s choice to include a charitable element in the festivities added a meaningful touch to the night, blending celebration with giving back to the community.
Harper didn’t stop at just organizing the party-she brought her own flair to the event with a thoughtful and personalized twist.
On TikTok, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model revealed her outfit of the night: an elegant black off-the-shoulder mini dress adorned with a faux fur accent along the neckline.
She paired the look with sheer black tights, pointed-toe heels, and a Gucci handbag, completing the sophisticated ensemble. “A fun little dress,” she described it.
The highlight of the evening, however, was the unique “favorite things” gift exchange. Harper explained that each attendee brought a gift for every other guest.
Her chosen gift was a customized Gorjana ring, engraved with the jersey number of each woman’s partner-a sentimental and stylish keepsake.
Fans on social media were quick to praise Harper’s efforts and her stunning look. Comments poured in, such as, “The cutest ever” and “You look beautiful!!! .” One fan even asked, “Where is your dress from?!”
This celebration followed a tough weekend for the Lions, who suffered a 48-42 loss to the Buffalo Bills at Ford Field, only their second loss of the season. Jared Goff and his 12-2 team are now looking ahead to their upcoming game against the Chicago Bears.
Despite the loss, the party offered a chance to lift spirits and celebrate the strong sense of community among the Lions WAGs.
Harper‘s thoughtful approach to the event, combining glamour with giving, highlights her support not just for her husband but for the broader Detroit community.
With Harper at the helm, the Lions‘ holiday festivities were about more than just gifts-they embodied gratitude, generosity, and unity.
