The Moment Michael Bublé Honored Taylor Swift’s Parents

A family affair! Michael Bublé was one of the lucky people who attended Taylor Swift’s final show of the Eras tour, but it wasn’t just the singer he raved about. The “Haven’t Met You Yet” artist couldn’t say enough nice things about Taylor’s parents, Andrea and Scott Swift.

“Honestly, one of the coolest nights of my life,” Michael, 49, told E! News in an article published on Wednesday, December 11. “Her mom and her dad came over, and it reminded me so much of my mom and dad. They were so sweet, and they were so proud.”

He continued, “They were so overwhelmed by the moment and the fact that this moment is bringing generations together to celebrate positivity and goodness and empathy. There was no group of people that weren’t represented, and it’s just something I know that’s never happened before. And I don’t know if it’ll ever happen again.”

The “L.O.V.E.” singer brought his wife, Luisana Lopilato, and their daughters, Vida and Cielo, to the show on Sunday, December 8. Michael shared several sweet moments from the night in a TikTok video he posted on Monday, December 09. In the clip set to Taylor’s “Shake It Off,” The Voice coach could be seen dancing with his daughters in the VIP section.

“When I tell you I witnessed something last night that I’ve never experienced before and frankly, may never experience again. Taylor is truly an incredible entertainer,” Michael wrote alongside the video. “Her parents were so kindhearted, it’s clear how she became the woman she is today and watching the joy on my daughters’ faces is something I will never forget as long as I live. They were in awe of Taylor. The power of connection and the shared experience between generations is a testament to Taylor’s incredible talents. I am grateful to have seen the Eras tour and in my very own hometown. What an unforgettable night!”

Taylor, 34, ended her record-breaking Eras tour after 21 months on the road. Over the last several months, the “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” singer has traveled the world, performing a variety of songs from her different “eras.” The tour initially started in March 2023 and was supposed to end in August that same year. However, more shows were added once it became clear just how in-demand tickets were.

The Miss Americana star got choked up during her final show as she prepared for an emotional goodbye to her historic concert run.

“We have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve done in my entire life. We’ve gotten to perform for over 10 million people on this tour,” Taylor told the crowd in Vancouver. “And tonight, we get to play one last show for you here tonight in beautiful Vancouver. We’re gonna make it count.”

She also took a moment to thank everyone from her fans to her bandmates.

“This tour has been the adventure of a lifetime,” Taylor explained. “I speak on behalf of my band … my fellow performers who all left their families and have spent time away from everything that they know and love and have performed when they were sick. When anything was going on in their lives, they made sure that this show come through [for] you and I just wanted to say that on behalf of all of us, we will never forget you giving us that moment. Thank you, Vancouver.”
